With a robust background in food policy, marketing, and food service, I am passionate about empowering teams to embrace sustainability. In addition, as an enthusiastic Workshopper trained in the AJ&Smart Sprint Method, I utilise innovative tools to align teams around prioritising challenges effectively. Through my company, Future Green, I consult with food businesses and lead a membership programme in Hong Kong, supporting over 50 members each month. With over 5,000 hours of training and workshop experience, I ensure that learning is not only productive but also enjoyable and memorable.
Our Approach
- Be the guide, not the hero: A facilitator doesn’t give the answers, but guides the participants towards their goal. The solutions are already within the participants, they are the hero.
- Energy as a delicate, finite resource: Don’t overdo the workshop. The brain and body need to rest in order to gain clarity again.
- Start strong, end stronger: Your workshop needs to start in a way that people get energy and are excited to start the day. The workshop needs to end in a way where the participants feel like they have gained so much from the session.
- Set and get expectations: We all need to know what to expect from the workshop in order to feel content, heard and understood at the end of the workshop.
- Beware the curse of knowledge: You might think everyone knows how a certain exercise goes. But explain it again and again. 3 times preferably.
- Improvisation is key: More people, less people, technology failing, migraines, lack of sleep,.. You need to be able to improvise to overcome those obstacles and have an actionable outcome anyway.
