Position: Volunteer Community Manager

About Future Green
Future Green is a purpose-driven consultancy dedicated to advancing food sustainability across Asia-Pacific. Our mission is to empower individuals and organisations with the knowledge and tools to drive sustainable food systems. Through our Skool community, we foster engaging discussions, share valuable resources, and host interactive events to inspire action.
Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Volunteer Community Manager to help grow and energise our online food sustainability community. This role is perfect for someone passionate about sustainable food systems and eager to gain hands-on experience in community engagement. In return for your commitment, you’ll receive exclusive access to our cutting-edge food sustainability courses, keeping you informed on the latest industry insights and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Engagement: Cultivate a welcoming and dynamic space by interacting with members, answering questions, and encouraging discussions.
- Content Creation: Share relevant insights, articles, event updates, and educational materials to keep the community informed and inspired.
- Event Coordination: Organise and promote virtual events, workshops, and discussions tailored to food sustainability.
- Feedback Collection: Gather insights from community members to enhance engagement and improve resources.
- Moderation: Uphold community guidelines, foster respectful interactions, and ensure a positive environment.
Qualifications
- Passion for Food Sustainability: A deep interest in sustainable food systems and a commitment to driving change.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to connect with diverse individuals and foster meaningful conversations.
- Organisational Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks and coordinating activities efficiently.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using online platforms; experience with Skool is a plus but not required.
