February 2026 – Uphold Fair Labour
Future Green Members Monthly Meetup – 10th February 2026
Fair Labour in Action: rén Hong Kong
Join us for our February 2026 monthly meetup featuring Jo Soo Tang of rén Hong Kong, sharing how food businesses can uphold fair labour while creating meaningful opportunities for disadvantaged youth.
rén was born from a collective who treasure community and good food. With a determination to place disadvantaged individuals into roles within the F&B and hospitality industries, rén demonstrates how businesses can do good through food. Their rén EGGS initiative partners with local Yuen Long farmers to source eggs from the renowned Tin Hong Three Yellow Chicken – with a carbon footprint 700x smaller than imported eggs.
30% of rén EGGS proceeds support their Humanity Programmes, providing training and employment pathways for young people facing barriers to work. Their eggs are now featured at leading establishments including Felix at The Peninsula Hong Kong and Michelin-starred Feuille.
This session aligns with UN SDG 8: Decent Work and demonstrates how sourcing locally and investing in people creates truly sustainable food systems. Learn practical approaches to fair labour that benefit your business, community, and the environment.
