Training for Food Retailers Overview

The workshop begins with an overview of regenerative agriculture,
including definitions, principles, terminology. We’ll then review its
importance in terms of sourcing food sustainably, and address the
environmental and human health impacts of current agricultural
systems. A relevant guest speaker (such as Pur Projet) will reveal
how to bring regenerative agriculture projects to life – qnd explore
key agricultural trends and best practices.
Acquire knowledge through interactive workshops which you can
then apply through activities that match the different regenerative
agriculture principles and metrics to five themes (soil, water,
biodiversity, climate and livelihoods). You’ll also have opportunities
to discuss the areas that most interest you.

  • Understand current trends in the agricultural sector and how: i) food production can be impacted by them ii) regenerative agriculture practices can address them
  • Aquire new knowledge and discover best practices across the industry via relevant case studies

  • Influence suppliers by asking the right questions

Accreditation: Assessed and certified by CPD. Learners can claim up to 3 CPD credits and will receive a CPD certificate on completion
